I'm wondering if any team has looked at Vic Beasley as an ILB. He's a great athlete who I think could surely cover TE's. He's aggressive, he's a good tackler, he has the speed to go sideline to sideline making plays, and we know he can rush the passer.

If Beasley were to be paired with Keenan Robinson, they could be a top-notch ILB tandem, IMO.

I personally dont think you take a guy away from his strength, especially when that strength is at a premium in the NFL. Beasley is best at rushing the passer, which he would only do on an occasional blitz from the MLB position. Taking him from a pass rusher to someone that covers TEs comes across as a mistake to me. Seems that it would be similar to moving Trent to RT so we could say we solved the RT position.
