As for all this hoopla about his status on this team, well, obviously DS wants him to work. He isnt. I think ultimately DS wants to win though - that is the main thing. Just like alot of people on this board that are jumping off the Griff train before it derails another season so is DS i presume. Up until now DS and plenty of us fans were hoping that he would regain his confidence, health, and wits all at once. I think this preseason was finally the breaking point for all those including DS that were hanging on to some semblance of hope.
