I'm always surprised by how coaching staffs seem to be influenced by things they shouldn't care about: contracts, draft rank etc... As a coach it should always be about playing the best player, regardless of how it makes the front office look (in a perfect world).

I also wonder how much his INT inducing slip from last season set him back in the eyes of the coaches.
