I like Cousins and wished he stayed but he is partly to blame for what happened here too. Not only for the way he didn't want to negotiate, but by his play. Playoff game against Green Bay? He played like shit. In another game that was basically a playoff game against the Giants in 16, he played like shit again and threw a pick to end the season. And we all know how this season ended, ditto of 2016.

So with all that are you actually going to give him 30 million a year? No way in hell. Give me Keenum, Bradford, McCarron, or a draft pick for way less money. Look at all the rookies that have had success on rookie deals? Cousins isn't pushing any of the teams looking at him over the top.

I hate the trade because giving away a high draft pick and a starter for a game manager is stupid as hell. Just stupid as it gets. I would have went w/ Colt and drafted someone, and hoped that rookie could beat out Colt. But I DO applaud the Redskins for at least being disciplined enough to not cave into Cousins bullshit playing. They said enough and turned their back on him. Good for them for ending this. Hopefully....
