Agreed. Why dump 42k pages of documents on a Friday evening and expect them to have it read by Tuesday? The whole process is a sham, basically Grassley was saying there's no point in giving them time to read because we already know how everyone's gonna vote anyways.

Also I put that sentence in bold because that's on point imo. It's not about doing what's right for the majority of the populace anymore, it's about doing what's right for the people that voted for you or put campaign funds in your pocket. Party over country.
