I can't help to think if Snyder still had McVay last year, he may had been willing to cut Gruden loose and keep McVay. Who knows, maybe Cousins would've stayed. Probably a long shot on that, but I think since McVay went to LA, there was no option for Snyder and he probably had no choice but to keep Gruden one more year.



I will be totally shocked if Gruden is the coach in 2019, unless Allen stays and unless the 'skins somehow make it into the playoffs with butt fumble.

Imagine what Snyder is thinking watching McVay in LA, and how well Cousins is doing in Minnesota. He has to be looking at Allen and Gruden and realizing he got stuck with garbage
