I’m still butt hurt that we didn’t get Hooper. I think Rivera was really focused on Cooper and thought if they just out-bid Dallas that we could get him. But there are no taxes in Texas and it’s not like Washington or Snyder has a good reputation in the NFL. The Redskins could not get both Cooper and Hooper so their money was there for Amari and Cleveland wanted Hooper badly and Hooper wanted to go there .

The rest of FA has been pretty much a non-event for the Redskins. It’m glad to see Fuller come back and I think he will shine here.

I was pretty sure that Trent was gone, but an unintentional benefit of the Cooper non-signing was that he could stay here if Trent would drop his price. A possibility, although if it happens it will be much closer to the draft. If we get the second round pick, it will go toward a TE.

Glad we didn't sign him. It would be the type of signing like so many we've had around here. It's great when the deal is done, then in 2 years when he has 50 catches for 550 yards and 4 td's everyone would be pissed off and call it another FA bust. We can easily find someone in the draft that is as good or better than Hooper and pay that person on a rookie deal.
