One play in particular, Bucs show blitz and bring blitz, Mahomes throws a hot route to WR Hardman on the outside who never turned to look at the ball and it basically hit him unaware bc he never realized it was a hot route situation. Does Mahomes have to call out hot route or do you expect your QB and WR to be on the same page non verbally.

They refused to adjust. They keep calling 5 step medium to long developing pass plays, rarely helping that LT bc your TE Kelce was always a down field route runner.

Also ... I understand Mahomes was under pressure .. but you cant be running 20 yards backwards every time you feel pressure.
