The Chargers new head coach has said that their practices are harder than preseason games and that is why they held Herbert out. That is either a bold statement or a dumbass philosophy. Playing SF defense, even in preseason, would have been an excellent opportunity to let their firsts take a few snaps in preparation for our defense.
