I won't blame them for the taxes part. Because cities fuck out of towners with ridiculous added taxes to pay for stuff like buses that no one uses. Hotels have no power over local governments screwing people.

But the fees, parking, etc., is all a way to trick us into thinking the nightly price is cheaper than what we're really paying.
