If you want to see what an elite running back prospect looks like on the field, check out Love's workout. At 6-foot and 213 pounds, he had a 4.36-second time in the 40-yard dash. For comparison's sake, that's the same time as Jahmyr Gibbs but on a frame that's 13 pounds heavier. Love continued his strong day by showing balance and agility in position drills, including good quickness as he accelerated after bag drills. During the pass-catching portion of workouts, he looked like a bulked-up wide receiver running routes. ND fan here. Love is amazing. Has insane acceleration. Maybe the best I've seen for a back to hit full speed. Almost makes defenses looks silly. He's also got power and goes between the tackles also with physicality. Oh he's got great hands and can catch also. Check out the 2023 and 2024 ND-USC games. Dude went off.
