Browns proposing allowing trades with picks up to 5 years ahead. This feels a bit like heading towards madness. How long before a team gives up their whole future draft potential to just win now. Little surprise the Rams are in support. I'd definitely be a buyer in that scenario ("sure we'll have those picks, at the rate you're going, that's a whole slew of #1 picks you're giving up"), but I would be very reticent to gamble away so much draft capital, and then be unable to plan a recovery.
