i totally agree with you on that point. from a talent perspective though, its hard to argue his merits though. talentwise there are a LOT of teams i'd make a straight trade with.

drafting a OG/OT type would mean a cheap backup, and if they're drafted high, there's a good chance they could start challenging for the starting job pretty soon. Being as how there's no rush to get them into the lineup and they'll be in the system while learning, its a win-win.
