WP Insider: Springs Unlikely to Play Against Dallas

Well, I've heard the apologists all day long dismiss the cream puff pass rush to what many suddenly recognize as a "great Minnesota offensive line."

Oh that's right. I forgot. There should be no reason to think we can pressure the quarterback when faced with great offensive linemen. Silly me.

Funny, I doubt those same people were singing the praises for the Vikings front line before September 11th. According to many of the comments, it was going to be a cake-walk.

So now that we're facing an offensive line that reportedly isn't as talented or dominant as that steamrolling juggernaut from up North, maybe, just MAYBE we'll get a sack or two from the starting defensive ends.

Let's just hope we don't see too many other "great offensive lines" this season.
