Rock Cartwright played for Conroe TX when I was in school (I went to Silsbee and we played them on their turf ass field every year... they were good....) and he was known as an all around back. He was a big guy, but he was faster than probably anybody on our team except Detrice Spearman. Detrice was our star running back, but he played Linebacker when we played Conroe and Port Neches Groves, to stop their running attacks.

Rock rushed for something like 2000 yards his senior year and would blow up anyobdy that tried to tackle him... and I believe he split time with another senior, who alot of guys would say was better than Rock... even though that other guy is probably working at mcdonalds now lol....

Its amazing how the game speeds up at the different levels...
