This article merely reinforced what he said after last week's game about R. Brown burning him - "he gave me a double move. nothing I can do about that."
"nothing!"
Someone said he's "overconfident." I'd say the opposite, I think this year he's played w/fear & is embarrassed, so he says stupid things after the game. Maybe it scared him to look to the other side & see K. Wright early in the year & think to himself - "wow, I've really got to cover their best guy!" Notice how well he played against Carolina - most of the game Springs matched up on Smith.
Why has he played 10 yards off all the wr's all year? He lets guys get off the line & into their route.
