Listening to the John Riggins show on the way home from work and they had a beat writer from the St. Louis newspaper (who also happend to be a Redskin fan). He said everyone in St. Louis could not believe the contract Adam weas given because people knew he had a bad back and this limited his run stuffing ability and since the injury he has never been the same. He went on to say that this decision by the Redskins was made because of 1 of 2 things: 1.) One of the coaches wanted him really bad or 2.) Someone who does not have football decision making ability/knowledge got involved in getting him here. I don't want this to turn into a GM question thread - just passing along the qoute from the guy.
