I gave him a C, based on the following scale:
A - Near perfection (e.g.: Peyton Manning) B - Above average (e.g.: Tom Brady) C - Average (e.g.: Jon Kitna) D - Below average (e.g.: Bruce Gradkowski) F - Terrible (e.g.: Andrew Walter) I could never expect a first year starter to be anything more than average. I'm quite pleased and relieved.
