Generalizations? How many(what percentage of) college football players from Div 1A schools do you think could make it to college without those scholarships and on pure brain power? The universities coddle them, give them lame majors(usually Phys Ed or Communications) and slap them on the wrist if they break the law or team rules. What did he get even when found guilty? A one game suspension. When you let guys get away with stuff like that it sinks in that they are special and can get away with stuff in the future.

I'm just saying the NFL is not filled with drug addicts and thugs. When someone says Cincinatti Bengals the automatic assumption these days is "Thugs" But is that fair to guys like Carson Palmer, Rudi Johnson, Kenny Watson, even Chad Johnson?
