Those dots in your post were really necessary.
I dunno, I kind of see the logic in releasing him. He's 30, his knees are giving him problems, and he flat out sucked last year in pass coverage. He's a very one-dimensional LB; all he can do is attack the line of scrimmage. In coverage he constantly gets toasted.
