I agree with Beem. They got Champ and a second round pick for the Portis trade. Portis has had a couple good seasons, but short of a serious run of consecutive playoff appearances, the jury is still out concerning that trade.

When it comes to heart, Portis is aces. His running style though, imho, has never fit this type of offense. I rarely see him move the pile backward running up the middle. In fact I would venture enough to say that his recent run of injuries are attributed to the fact he has been trying to be a power running back over his prefered slash and dash style.
