Shake N' Quake: The top 5 as of 11/29/07
This is not going to be easy to get through with all that is going on but here goes:
1. New England: The Pats barely snuck out a win last Sunday night against the Eagles with Donovan McNabb on the bench. It was the worst game the Pats have played all year and if it wasnt for Asante Samuel they would be 10-1. 2a. Dallas, 2b. Green Bay: Tonight is the night of the showdown between Green Bay and Dallas. We will find out tonight who is the real number 2 in the league. 4. Jacksonville: The Jags have been on a serious role as of late. Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew are really laying the hammer down in the run game and the defense has shown that they are one of the toughest and stingiest in the league, and David Garrard has yet to throw an interception all season. Now that's crazy!!!! 5. Pittsburgh: I was a little hesitant to throw Pittsburgh ahead of Indy especially after that loss to the Jets, but with the injuries to the Colts and the Steelers defense they get the nod here. Ben Rothelisberger has really shown that 2006 is a fluke already having more TD passes this season than in any other one while being in the NFL. The Steelers have a game against the Pats coming up and this will be their chance to show that they belong in the conversation of elite teams in the league.
