This helped more than a bit, it was a coup really.

Our FO screwed up by bringing him here, but give them credit for cutting their losses as best they could. I still don't understand why the Bears would pay $5M of his bonus when we'd probably have cut him anyways.

My buddy is a longtime Bears fan and last year he was so excited to get Arch. I tried to warn him but he wouldn't listen saying things like "Lovie coached him in Stl and will revamp his career" and "The Bears D is strong enough that Arch won't be asked to cover, only play the run..."

Let's just say that right now my buddy hates him more than I ever did.
