Spags wouldn't have been able to get his people, which I think was a huge factor in him resigning with NY. with Cowher, I truly believe he wasn't taking the job because of the front office structure and fact he wouldn't have control of personel or his staff. I don't think there was ever any concrete evidence of Mora Jr. being offered the job. Just rumors and speculation.

Spags came into a similar situation in NY, he came in as the DC with his assistants already in place and it wasn't an issue for him then.
