Not saying you should get one due to the fact that you have a mini zoo over there, but they aren't grandpa's race car anymore. The reasons you mentioned in this post and others is why I was looking at a BMW. However, I do not have the traffic out here so the stick issue is a nonissue with me. Traffic is one of the things I miss the least about Boston.

How interested are you in the Lexus? (realistically)

I will probably buy it within a year or 2. If not the Lexus, then something very similar.
