Sure they won 11 of 12 at the end of the season but of the 11 games only 3 games were against playoff teams, and the caps lost to the PENS right before they started their awsome hot streak againt teams that didn't make the playoffs, I am sorry but that is not impressive to beat up on teams that suck anyhow. And with the 94 points that the caps managed to get is not any better than the 94 points that Ottawa (7th seed) has or the 94 points that Boston (8th seed) has. Yet as a division winner the caps were still behind in points to the Flyers, Rangers, and Devils, put any one of those teams in the weak southeast division and that is the division champ. The only reason that the caps got their division title was because of a weak division, still not impressive...
