Re: What this all means for Moss?

The thing that I noticed about Moss is that he goes down to easily after the first hit. That is probably due to the fact that he is a bit small.

In 2005 he was hot and a kind of an unknown in our conference, and that is why he had the good success that he enjoyed. Now, teams have done their homework on him, and have him scouted-out pretty good. He was also doubled-up alot, because we really didn't have another receiver that had playmaking potential. Hopefully that has changed now with our two draft picks.

Also, because of his lack of size, he was not a threat in the redzone, and that hurt us far too many times. We need ball hungry playmakers who have crazy heart when they are out on the field. And we need people who can be counted on to extend drives when we need it. I think Moss is a great number 2 or 3 wideout, but not a number 1 or your prototypical possesion type receiver. If he continues to have injury issues and games where he does not give it his all, then he needs to go. I hope that he can still contribute for us.
