Listening to CP and observing the way others react to him, I would (carefully) venture to say he is just not very bright and maybe very dumb so that his colleagues give him a fair bit of grace in all his stupidity. Not sure the same can be said of TO on either point - he seems pretty sharp and people tend to "react" to what he says whereas I don't think CP gets much reaction... kind of reminds me how the slow kids were treated in school... just let em be.

I agree that CP isnt too bright but I also think the he is very insecure. That insecurity is what causes his to say what he says and constantly want to be the center of attention.
