Re: Campbell will ask for trade if Redskins draft a QB
I'm kinda supprised at most of you. If I knew how to work a search button on here I'd find the thread where everyone is bashing JC saying he sucks, has a slow throwing motion, can only throw intermediate passes, throws too hard for short routes, is not accurate on the long ball, can't read defenses. Am I bashing him no not really but I do believe some of these issues. I for one thought Zorn would be able to fix some of the problems, perhaps Zorn has figured out JC will either not change cause of habit or can't change with out ruining some of his effectiveness.
Where are all the Colt fans? I think I only saw one Colt fan on here rallying for the cause. lol. I agree there are some bigger issues then JC like the OL for protection. but no matter how much protection you give him, if he can't read a defense and audible then nothing will change with a decent OL. Oh, I'll agree he played lights out for 8 games. I'm not knocking him. I'm just wondering where all the JC bashers are? As for Sanchez. It's not rocket science that JC is in his last yr. If there is a possibility to upgrade a team should do it atleast a yr prior to letting said current QB go cause the new one will have to learn the speed of the game and play calls. I honestly don't know why JC is throwing a fit. Stay with the team, Play lights out, show the Skins they need to resign him, and ask for more money this time. If you lose your possition to a one season, 16 game experienced Rookie then maybe there are serious problems. How sweet it would be to have JC, Sanchez, and Colt. Perhaps not in that order. JC knows he would get the start. Sanchez does not even have the play book. He has to learn that first and then get on the field for experience, and then learn the speed of the game. Also, I'm not sure why people are knocking Sanchez unless it's simply due to having to give up so much. Sanchez played in a pro style WCO in college. He can make all the throws. He is accurate. He can scramble, He throws the ball prior to his WR make their breaks (which if I'm accurate some said JC could not do. He seemed to throw the ball when the WR got to his mark on the field which usually resulted in a ball behind the WR) Sanchez hits his WR in stride. His only knock is he lacks experience. He played one season...16 games. I have said in other threads....I'm not for moving up and getting him. I'm for dropping back and getting extra picks as long as we have a trade partner. I bet we don't. I believe we need OL, LB, CB, DE, WR, and RB. I'm happy with JC for this yr and see how he does with a better OL. but ....if they get Sanchez, so be it. I'll understand. I don't like mortgaging our future or losing picks to get him but if he is honestly better then JC then good get him. The QB's of this era need to get thicker skin. Buck up and let your play be your mouth. Stop being babies and play. There are 32 teams in the NFL and not everyone can be a starter. JC if you feel snubed then go elsewhere and try to take the job from someone else unless of course your lucky enough to go to a team that has no one. |
