This feels a lot like Phillip Rivers when he came out. Awkward 3/4 release, brash personality, late climb on the draft boards. The only difference is that Rivers was more accomplished when he came out. Bottom line though is that if Mike and Kyle like him I will welcome him with open arms if then well it doesn't matter because they won't draft him.

In looking at everything though I feel that Clausen is a much better prospect then Cutler. Cutler had a lot of physical tools but limited production. Clausen on the other hand has some nice physical tools and much better production. Still my opinion right now is dependent on what our coaches think of him.
