He's not your typical first round bust. From what I hear he has a very prototypical skillset to be a 3-4 DE, and the good news is this time around people won't ask him to get a bunch of sacks to be considered productive rather he'll be asked to distract blockers, play hard against the run, and get a strong push inside on passing downs, all task he's capable of performing.

Okay, that's somewhat encouraging. Probably wasn't scouted properly, or perhaps was a reach. He's just one of those DEs you can't have any expectation of getting to the quarterback -- basically like Philip Daniels.
