For one, Shanny's endearing the team and fans to himself by doing this. Secondly, Albert has zero room to stomp off the field and risk being suspended or fined, but on the other hand Albert can start rehabing his image by playing along and showing he's willing to do what it takes.

As far as the so called media circus and this being a distraction, eh..I don't think Shanahan cares a hill of beans about that. He's mroe concerned about the guys inside the locker room, not the ones outside the locker room.

It's a complete downer and continues to overshadow the good feeling we want to have going into the season. I wish there was a way for this saga to quickly be resolved so we can concentrate more on what's really important.
