I understand that he's playing up in the box more this year but I don't like when safeties are making tackles on running plays. Usually means there were a few broken tackles or the DL/LB simply couldn't get to the running back.

To that defend some of that statement, LL getting to runners before, at, or just past the line of scrimmage so he wasn't always 8 or 9 yards deep making tackles.

But I am not defending our run d either. I thought it held together ok, but certainly not great.
