Exactly. This is very easy to forget. In addition to that, he had a FG taken off the board this year when the Skins benefitted from a penalty. So his performance is much better than his stats indicate, particularly when you consider the snap-and-hold problems the Skins have had all year.

Regardless, this thread is as stupid as it is predictable. Every time a kicker misses an important field goal, you can rest assured that there will be a thread promoting his immediate termination from the team, with the underlying assumption that there's a reservoir of countless perfect kickers out there just waiting for a team to pick them up.

No one should make a comment that a kicker should be cut without suggesting who should take his place.
