Contrary to popular belief, my personal opinion is they aren't trying to prevent anything. They know not selling alcohol affects almost zero percent of the students BAC. In my mind, the main reason is not to prevent disorderly conduct, but to give the appearance of preventing disorderly conduct to appease the public and to create an atmosphere and culture that coincides with the moral standards preached by the university.

I am complaining or saying that it is bs that they don't sell alcohol, cause in fact I don't care at all. I'm just saying that I believe the main motives for the rules are alterior to the ones stated.
