Re: Who Will Be The Redskins 2011 Opening Day Starting QB?
I think we did a good job addressing a big need in the o-line last year with T. Williams. And one could say that a healthy Jammal Brown could set our team at the tackle position for the next 3 seasons (the LT position has been pretty much set for the rest of T. William's career).
We do need to address the interior line, however I think we could do that with later round picks (i.e. let's get the other Pouncey on the 2nd round, and maybe get a veteran center in FA). We also need to address the interior D-line, which I think we could have addressed by picking up T. Cody in the second round (trade down that is) or Cam Williams in the 3rd round; and we could have bee developing a true NT this year. If Rex works out as an in-between guy, then we should go after a 1st round QB, let him develop and hopefully have ready to go when Rex gets the ax. Last offseason, I was campaigning for a tackle and we got it, now I feel we need to address the QB position.
