Which is why I'm not a fan of tossing everything just to move up. If they do I sure hope there is a plan "B" like a FA QB brought in also.... someone decent to either challenge or be able to step in if the Rookie is not ready. But what if he comes in as a rookie and plays like Andy Dalton? Then is his age a huge issue? I mean, a good QB plays through 34-35.

Brees was 33 this year, Brady is 34, Eli is 31, & brother Peyton won his SB at 30, lost one at 33... heck, Elway was 37 & 38 in his SBs... also see Kurt Warner, Brad Johnson, and Rich Gannon.

By my count, he could be at least 6 to 8 year run of good QB play for someone possibly.

I could see Weeden being this year's Dalton for sure.... why not?
