With Peyton Manning on his way out the door it really makes no sense for the Colts NOT to draft Andrew Luck with the number one pick. That is if they really believe that Luck is a once in a generation quarterback who could put the Colts back on a trajectory of becoming a winning franchise again.

The possibility of Manning not playing for Colts next season (if that indeed happens), I think, is probably Irsay's way of nudging him into retirement out of a genuine concern for his health -- probably moreso than his perceived inability to co-exist with Andrew Luck.
