gain: all of the additions the vikings have made to their defense. with culpepper at the helm, their offense will always be a force (even without moss as they showed last year when moss was hurt) but their defense has always let them down. Williamson was an awesome pickup for the vikes to help replace moss.

loss: I have no problems with this, but I seriously think what's been happening with TO and the eagles, mainly mcnabb, is gonna continue to fester especially since they won't give him more money this year.

long term: I really like the team, especially on the offensive side, that Detroit is putting together. If they stay healthy and meet their potential, that team has the chance of being a monster and with a couple tweaks to the defense next year, they could be near the top of the NFC for the next few years.
