Whose coverage will you watch for the NFL Draft?
For perhaps the most anticipated draft in the recent history of the Redskins I'm curious as to which channel you will be watching for the draft coverage.
Personally I'm slightly torn between ESPN and NFL-N with a strong leaning towards NFL Network.. ESPN- Pros: Superior quality of secondary analysts (Jaws, Gruden, Steve Young), better 'experts/insiders' (Mort & Schefter) depth of analysis from multiple sources, much stronger 2nd and 3rd day anchor team (Trey Wingo>>Fran Charles) Cons: Subpar lead anchor and analysts. Berman's act wore thin in 2001, TJ adds nothing, Keyshawn adds nothing, Kiper and McShay are alright but have already said the same things about players for the past 5 weeks. It's somewhat overkill by the time they get to draft day. NFL Network- Pros: Lead team of Eisen, Mayock and Charles Davis is head and shoulders over ESPN lead team. Lombardi is a decent information man and seems pretty dialed in to the Redskins. Coverage seems more about the players and teams than entertaining each other. Cons: Pretty big drop off after the lead team. JLC is a hair above worthless and brings plenty of bias against the Redskins. What coverage will you watch and are some of your pros and cons for each network?
