Ha ha, to true. I think to many fans bought in to much to the good feelings and media attention from last week. Personally I spent all last week thinking to myself that it they gave us way to much respect. We did good but it was way to much for the first game of the season.
Griffin is definitely ahead of schedule but we have to remember he's still a rookie and he still has a bit of a ways to go before he takes that next step as a passer. Sad thing though is he's already a better passer then any QB we've had since Brad Johnson.

Agreed. We're scoring TDs now and not settling for field goals. Every win is hard to come by. The Browns put up a good fight, the Pats went down to the Cards, the Giants were on the ropes and, of course, the uber talented Cowboys only scored 7 in a loss to the Seahawks.
1-1 after 2 road games to the Saints and Rams is nothing to be ashamed of. We're averaging 35 a game and are plus 5 in turnovers. Now let's take care of business against the Bungles.
