Nobody is calling for Shanahan's or Allen's heads -- It should be noted however that this is year three and we are fielding, by all statistical approximations, the worst secondary in the league. What is scary is that it is not as though we are playing an elite quarterback every week.

Injuries have played their part no doubt and the lack of cap space certainly hurts but Shanahan is getting paid $7 million a year and Allen is getting paid something similar I am sure to sort out these problems and in that regard they have failed. Can anyone say, that with the game on the line, you trust the defense to make a stop? I know I don't.

We have a rookie quarterback starting, a rookie running back, no real #1 receiver and they have looked fantastic so kudos to the front office. But, this is year 3!! How is the defense in this bad of shape? And all arguments about turnovers, defensive scoring etc. are specious -- look up the numbers, we are #29 in total defense, #26 in points per game, and dead last in passing yards per game. Without RG3's brilliance, we would be lucky to have 1 win.
