And being a lifelong DC Metropolitan area resident, I can tell anyone that:
a. There are many people native to DC that are Redskins fan (and who still live in the city)
b. All MD fans are NOT Ravens fans.

I didn't read anything into the OP that suggested all MD residents are Ravens fans, but I know of several Baltimore residents who used to be Redskins fans and are now Ravens fans. Like it or not, the Ravens are MD's primary pro football team, not the Redskins. The Redskins have a larger presence in VA. Richmond IS Redskins country. The Redskins are worshipped there. Likewise, the Redskins are pretty much the main team VA residents root for from NoVa down to Southside VA. So moving a stadium into VA would probably be more beneficial to the franchise than keeping it in MD. Ultimately, I think what is most realistic is for the team to build in NoVa or in DC. Certainly I have a bias in moving the team as far into VA as possible, so that I could attend more games, but I don't see the team moving a stadium deep into VA nor changing to the Virginia Redskins.
