Re: Update: Second Boston Marathon Suspect Captured

Given that this 19 year old kid laid a trail of blood down after the shooting, how inept does that make the Boston Police look?

It wasn't until after the owner of the boat noticed the tarp was moved that the police were notified. Dafuq?

I actually felt they did a fantastic job in terms of their response to this thing. In less than a week, they were able to identify, and kill or capture all involved suspects. I'm not entirely sure call the police inept is appropriate, even if this guy was leaving a trail of bloody bread crumbs...

Eh. I really don't buy that, I think they knew for a while where he was but didn't want to move in right away. They were all worried he had bombs strapped to himself.

LOL. Wait, you think they knew where he was the whole time and just was all spread out instead of having the house surrounded?....

Hell, that makes them sound more incompetent than a bleeding 19 year old kid eluding them.

This is one of the masterminds chasing him.

Then why keep everyone on lockdown all day?

Make an exclusion zone, allow people to go about their business, don't feed the terror beast unless that's the whole point.

Look, we don't know actually. But the Boston PD and the FBI did a damn good job. The city was on lock down long before they knew his whereabouts.

Mkay.....

Here's what we know happened: There was a shootout, the older brother died, the younger got injured, he left a trail of blood, the police failed to follow the bouncing ball.

How is that a damn fine job?

As Law Enforcement have a life/death influence over everyone's life I hold them to a higher standard than, say, a postal worker.
