Seriously, as far as I know, the D.C. Council does not have the authority to demand that the Redskins organization disassociate itself from D.C. by removing the word "Washington" from the team's name. Dan Snyder is adamant that he will "NEVER" change the name of the team and I'm betting that he means the "Washington" part, as well.

Well, if he is cut, I think he would be an excellent addition on the cheap. He excelled under Shanny and, with Moss getting long in the tooth, would be someone who could step into the slot receiver position. I think he certainly has the ability to challenge Briscoe or Robinson for the 5th/6th WR slot. As with everything this year, much is dependent on the how he would affect the cap numbers.
