Hell, that makes them sound more incompetent than a bleeding 19 year old kid eluding them.

Watertown man Dave Henneberry steps outside for cigarette, finds bomb suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev hiding in his boatÂ* - NY Daily News

This is one of the masterminds chasing him.

No not the whole time but yes for a couple hours. The chief even said they did

What's he supposed to say? Uhh....yeah, we forgot to look in the boat. Our bad.

You actually think, they would let the people in that house, just stroll into the backyard where they knew he was hiding? C'mon man....

Yeah, we're going to lock down the entire city, but we'll allow this guy to stay in his house and go into his back yard where we know the killer is hiding.

Final shootout, then Boston bombing suspect caught

Quote:
Weary officials lifted a daylong order that had kept residents in their homes, saying it was fruitless to keep an entire city locked down. Then one man emerged from his home and noticed blood on the pleasure boat parked in his backyard. He lifted the tarp and found the wounded 19-year-old college student known the world over as Suspect No. 2.

Like I said, that sounds more incompetent than the bleeding 19 year old eluding them for so long.
