Been saying it the past 2 months I want this man in B&G. For that reason I bet we dont land him lol. The guy flys around and makes things happen. Just has mean streak about him, I love it.

He will need to be paired with a safety that can cover right out of the draft. I like him too, but his aggresiveness will get in a few times during his rookie season. If we can get him and Duke Williams and mesh Andre Ellington and Tyrann Mathieu in between with Josh Boyce in the 5th I would be happy.


BTW I would take Hayden over Swearinger if it came down to the two of them.

I just feel Swearinger has the things you cant teach already...tenacity, agresiveness etc. he is pretty good in coverage as well. I like him as 3rd best safety. Yes Hayden over him for sure but I dont see Hayden leaving the 1st.

I have Swearinger as my 3rd safety as well. I think he has those things that you named. He and Matt Elam are very similar and I view Elam as a more disciplined version of Swearinger. Swearinger has the potential to be a top 5 FS/SS in the NFL, I just think that he will give up some big plays in his rookie year as he learns to not gamble as much a la Matt Elam.
