I'm not sure I like any of the Vikings' picks so far. Tons of potential, with very little production in Floyd and Patterson.
Floyd will probably learn behind Kevin Williams and I suppose the Vikes needed someone since Harvin rolled out.

Also how far does everyone else see Geno Smith falling? Could be Jacksonville in round 2, maybe Arizona?

But it's encouraging seeing a decent amount of safeties and WRs still available.
Maybe Shanny trades up tomorrow to get Elam?

That would be a terrific idea in my opinion. I like him a lot more than Cyprien and Swearinger. I wouldn't mind Swearinger at 51, but if Elam is sitting there at 40, I'd trade up to get him personally.

You go to ECU? I graduated from there in 2011.

I'd be very happy with us trading up a little to get Cyprien or Elam for the right price.

The pats are great at pick stockpiling...not as good at picking really. But they're approach is better. The NFL draft is about making as many picks a possible to mitigate risk

Yeah, could be.

I think if you end up with 3 1sts you'd like to see some immediate impact. Not sure there's any forthcoming for the Vikings.

Makes it pointless to stockpile picks if they don't draft well (which surprisingly they haven't in the past couple of seasons).
