Re: Draft talk rounds 2-3

this is why I didn't want Amerson (also see Clemson game). He bites on pump fakes so hard is ridiculous.

We can only hope that his confidence isn't shattered from those two games. I wanna know if he has great short area (shuttle) speed to recover. Coach him up Raheem.

He did get beat pretty bad on one throw. He also looked like he expected help over the middle on another and didn't get it. Other than that, he looked like a corner who is willing to get in there and hit. If that is his worst game and I have to compare that with 18 interceptions in two years, I am not that worried.

It will be tough to get Wilcox.

Thanks for the update...surprised guys like BW Webb, Poyer, Q. Patton, Barrett Jones and Lattimore are still on the board.

Re: Draft talk rounds 2-3

If he didn't get beat on those pump fakes and bite hard on those, he would have been a 1st rounder and we wouldn't have gotten him. That's a maturity, coaching, and discipline issue. That can be coached, size and speed cannot.

This.

I honestly don't get it. We just picked the ultimate upside guy who worst case scenario locks down the free safety position. No reason for criticism here, let's let Morris work with him first.

Agree 100%. I think he can start at corner but if not...I think he'll make one hell of a FS.

Amerson will play CB and Thomas is our FS. Two starters in the secondary. Great picks and with great coaching can be feared by the opposing teams.
