Get it together Joe, this is a Politically-Correct website. Are you new here?

We have sensitive members here. Sure we love a game where blood is spilled and bones are broken, but be careful with your words!

Okay, let's try this, speed enhanced individuals must also demonstrate other enhanced physical and instinctual characteristics to overcome any vertical challenges they may meet due to the immutable characteristic of the physical stature with which they may be blessed.

Maybe a politically correct site but this is what Wiki has to say...

"Midget" became linked to referencing short people put on public display for curiosity and sport.[3]

clearly football is for people 6-0 or above, so Joe might be using it correctly in football terms.

Hey, I'm the same height as Brandon Banks and routinely refer to myself as a midget. I'm coaching my son's Tee-Ball team right now and some of the 5-year olds are almost as tall as me.

If it doesn't offend the short people...why is it deemed offensive?

Sort of like the Redskins name...actual Native Americans aren't the offended ones!

These days they prefer to be called little people.
